In 2018 I started my store as a beauty store with the thesis that people,
especially women, will keep buying beauty products no matter the state of the
economy. I looked for a niche to sell in where products would be sold year round
and can specifically be on a subscription based model. What I found was that
beauty products, especially skincare products, is this golden niche.
Once I proved the model in this niche, I doubled down and moved all of my
capital towards skin care products, such as Body wash, hand soap, body scraps,
facial cleaner, eye serum, facial moisturizers etc.
I have done very well in this niche. However, due to a minor family incident, we
are liquidating assets to fund our daughter's college tuition.
There is massive
potential for a new owner since the new owner can double the catalog with the
current distributors or simply keep the products in stock and run PPC
advertising campaigns.
Last year the store did $93,567 in net profit and $651,576 in top line sales. I
currently have one part time employee that has been with the business since the
start and she will remain on with a new buyer.
I personally spend about an hour
a week on this business reviewing numbers etc.
Everything has been very well documented and a new owner needs no experience
whatsoever in this industry.
